Fee Deposit Rules & Financial Regulations
Payment Schedule & Due Dates
- The tuition & transport (if applicable) fee has to be paid on a quarterly basis by 10th of the first month of each quarter (April, July, October & January).
- The Annual Miscellaneous Charge must be paid in full during the first week of April at the commencement of each new academic session.
Late Payment Policy
- A late fine of ₹500 will be levied for every 10-day period (or part thereof) that the fee payment is delayed beyond the 10th of the first quarter.
- If fees remain unpaid for three consecutive months or one quarter, the student's name will be struck off the school's admission register.
- Re-admission Procedure: If a seat becomes vacant after such removal, the student may only be re-admitted by seeking fresh admission, which will require payment of the prevailing admission fee and all outstanding dues.
Authorized Payment Methods
- Cash or Online Bank Transfer are the only accepted modes of payment.
- Demand Drafts, Cheques, or any other monetary instruments will not be accepted.
Procedure for Fee Deposit
A. Parent's Responsibility: Parents/guardians must ensure timely payment. Fee payment reminders will not be sent.
B. In-Person Payment: Parents must come to the fee counter with the student's Fee Card. Payment must be made only to the officially authorized fee-collecting staff member at the school's designated office.
- Important Disclaimer: The school management is not responsible for any loss if fees are handed to unauthorized persons such as school van drivers, peons, teachers, or any other staff member not officially designated for this purpose by Uma Vidyalayam. The school administration will not accept complaints in this regard.
C. Online Payment: For payments made via online transfer directly to the school's bank account, parents must submit the transaction proof (receipt/screenshot) at the school office. The concerned staff will verify the credit in the school's bank statement.
D. Receipt of Payment: Upon successful verification of the payment (cash or online), an official Fee Receipt will be issued to the parent, and the transaction will be recorded on the student's Fee Card.
Verification & Grievance Period
- Due to the time taken for the bank to issue monthly account statements, parents should allow for a verification period of up to one month to receive confirmation of payment on their Fee Card or to resolve any related discrepancies.
